A fabulous old bear called Miss Havisham as she comes decked out in her dishevelled wedding finery – no cobwebs I’m afraid. She is a Chad Valley Magna – 18 inches tall, fully jointed & kapok stuffed. She has replaced pads & has lost her label – the pads were done some time ago. She is largely threadbare with some stitched repairs but is strong & sits nicely. Her face is just lovely – very soulful – & she looks wonderful in her antique dress – it dates to the early 1900’s and is rather tatty but lovely on her – she also has a newer head dress & veil & vintage pearls. A wonderful old character bear in need of a home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
