This lovely vintage Chiltern teddy bear was made during the late 1940s/early 1950s and is fully jointed with all joints nice and tight.
He is made in a gold coloured mohair and is in good condition for his age, with his original orange/black plastic eyes and original black stitched nose and mouth on a shaved muzzle – please see photos (small hole in nose stitching).
He is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing and has fawn coloured velveteen pads – please again see photos for condition – left pad wearing thin – stuffing visible through pad – also cardboard visible on left foot pad with hole. Cardboard inserts in feet pads and he has remains of black claws on each paw. He also has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
