A lovely old Chad Valley bear – not perfect by any means but she oozes character. She has had one owner her entire life & the lady recently died so she is now an orphan. She is 16 inches tall, fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. As you can see her pads have suffered over the years and crude attempts have been made to repair – she wears baby socks to keep her feet warm. She has a relatively good covering of mohair to her body but her head is threadbare & she has been given very feint eyebrows – they are not hugely noticeable. She will come as pictured in her dress which was made especially for her by her owner & is now looking for another place to call home – can you help?? Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage m a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
