Lovely vintage British teddy bear.Dating circa 1940-1950Measuring 16″ from pads to tip of head.With many characteristics of Chiltern teddy bears of this era, however the nose stitching slightly differs to the others I have seen. Original glass eyes sewn in and finished at the back.Oil cloth pads which show some wear but are strong and sturdy.Head is filled with wood wool with mostly kapok else where giving teddy a lovely soft hug.There is settlement to top of arms.In op squeaker to front of tummy.As pictures show ted has a very good coverage of golden mohair with some slight wear here and there.There is a little wear to right hand side of his nose.No damage or repairs other then mentioned.From non smoking home.Any questions please ask..
