Here’s a tiny early Steiff ted, made without pads and measuring just 9 cms (3.5″) high. He no longer retains his earbutton, and doesn’t have much gold mohair left either. Stuffed with woodwool, and fully-jointed, both legs are quite swingy but secure. He has original black bead eyes and embroidered features, along with a few age stains here and there. Overall, he’s a very old, well-loved little bear, wearing his homemade felt pants, with a fish charm round his neck. Thanks for looking.
