This fantastic early Farnell bear stands at a whopping 26″ tall and
dates to circa 1930’s with blonde mohair and although he has been loved and
has a little wear and tear he is in generally very good original condition.
He appears to be stuffed with wood wool in his body, limbs and head but
he is quite lightly stuffed so there may be a little kapok in there too. He is
five ways jointed with all his joints working smoothly so he can be nicely posed
and has retained all his original features including his pale orange and black
eyes and black cotton nose and mouth stitching.
He also has a good coverage of his blonde mohair with just a little thinning
and some small bare spots and I would estimate he has retained approximately
85% coverage overall. His rexine pads are also in good condition with some
surface wear but no holes or damage and there are 5 claw stitches on each paw.
He is a really lovely looking large size Farnell bear in overall very good condition.
and he would make a great addition to any hug.
