Vintage Teddy Bear ~ 24″ Tall Jointed With Bell
A very charasmatic old teddy bear who is play worn and requires some restoration.
He stands approx 24″ tall and has jointed arms, legs and head
He has his original working bell in his body and whilst he needs some attention he certainly comes with plenty of character.
Chair is not included.

Vintage unknown Teddy bear.Has metal holding the arms and legs together which are movable type.6″ tall.

1940’s ANTIQUE BEAR WITH EIRE LABEL .1938 to 1949.

This is “Tara”, she is a beautiful 17″ mohair bear in brilliant condition. Her golden mohair is still quite abundant, yes she does have the odd thin patch but all in all she is very well covered. She has a label sewn into her left foot which says “Made in Eire ” that dates her from 1938 to before 1949. Think she was made by Erris which changed to Tara toys in the 50’s. She is 5 way jointed, all work well, she has brown eyes & black nose & mouth stitching. Her pads are reddish felt, tiny hole in left hand & 2 tiny ones in left foot, apart from that they still look very strong. her growler is inoperative. She has such a pretty face and is a lovely bear especially for her age! She is very firmly stuffed, her head is woodwool & maybe her body. The only thing is she won’t have the same dress on, I washed it and can’t find it, I have replaced it with a white broderie anglaise one but if the other one turns up I will put it on her. I am sorry she has to go but am having to downsize my bears , I have 2 bears from Eire so one had to go. She is from my house which is non smoking.
