English Teddy Bear 1910/20. Good Condition.18/19 Antique/Vintage/Old.Lovely old bear with a gentle expression.Firmly stuffed with woodwool throughout. Glass eyes with painted backs. Original nose and mouth stitching.Good coverage of clean soft mohair. Some thinning to his back and legs.Paw pads have been very well replaced with wool felt. Apart from this he has had no other repairs and is in very good condition for over a hundred years old.

Barney, A Beautiful BIG Old Mohair Jointed Pedigree Bear, pre 1955

Barney is a delightful, large jointed mohair bear with a Pedigree, made in England lavel, which dates him to before 1955 when the company moved production to Northern Ireland.He is a substantial 23″ tall, with amber and black non safety eyes, a plastic nose and a hand stitched mouth. He has had a couple of repairs to the tops of his arms, but is otherwise in very good shape, his golden mohair still bright with minimal wear. His label is a little frayed but still completely readable. He has a barely working growler, and still has hos priginal paw and foot pads which are also in good condition. He could possibly benefit from a gentle clean with a damp or slightly sudsy cloth, as his fur has a fauntly grubby look in parts. All in all, a handsome old chap who would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
