These absolutely fantastic and gorgeous unique Lion and Lioness were given to me as a young child 50 years ago by an elderly affluent lady.
Approximate size is 21″ excluding tail length
I recall been told that they were promotional lions for a carpet firm which were used for advertising carpets retail shop window premises. I think they were for Cyril Lord ” Carpets you can afford”
Both lions have worn well considering their age, each lion has an eye missing which I have not replaced in order to keep them totally original.
