This is an antique mohair teddy bear coat made many years ago for a child, dating probably to around 1907. The mohair is a kind of ginger brown colouring and the coat is lined. It is in very good condition still and is missing a couple of its buttons. The buttons are brass teddy bear buttons, which in themselves are very collectable to antique teddy bear collectors. I had it on a large Steiff teddy bear, but it has been in storage for a while so I have decided to offer it for sale. It looks really good on a large teddy bear. Although it is in good condition, it is over a hundred years old and may have age related wear. .Approximate measurements – chest 23 inches, length 12 inches at front and 16 inches at back, underarm sleeve seam to cuff 11 inches.Please read the description carefully and look at the photos as this is a non-return action.
