Antique Chiltern Bear circa 1920’s/30’s Approximately 20″ Tall (Gorgeous George) he’s straw filled and 5 way jointed. His mohair is very sparse these days and he has replaced glass non safety eyes and a very small repair in the seam of his lower right leg but apart from this I think he’s in very good condition for his age of 80/90 years! His pads all look original as does his nose stitching and he’s still smiling, all his joints work well. He could have had a growler at one time but he’s speechless now! He’s wearing a silky type jacket with a faux medal pinned on it and his favourite thinking cap with tassel which helps him to reminisce about his adventures in his younger days. He says he won’t be any trouble and gets on well with other bears and dolls. He has his little hedgehog friend for company!
