An antique/vintage baby vest hand knitted from pure wool. It is a cross over style with ribbon ties and would make a cosy jumper for a vintage bear or a vest for an antique doll.
I don’t know which decade this was made in but it is a genuine old item of clothing. The vest is clean and fresh smelling having been carefully washed in Woolite and doesn’t have any holes.
The measurement across the chest (underarm to underarm) is 9 inches unstretched and from the shoulder to the hem is 7.5 inches.
The circumference of the armhole is 5 inches.
