This adorable and unusual tiny Antique Leather Elephant is possibly a Pram Toy or a Lucky Mascot.
I believe that it dates to around 1920, but I cannot be certain, and I think that it was made in England, but again, I am not sure.It measures approximately 6 x 8 cm and it weighs around 12 grams.I have photographed the Elephant fully so please refer to the photos as they form part of the description.
The fabric tusks are missing and the string to hang, although present, is broken.
Other than that the Elephant is in remarkable condition, with the Leather still soft and supple.
It is filled with kapok or similar.
