This wonderful Vintage Chad Valley Scottie Dog Teddy Bear Companion dates I believe to around 1930-1950 or thereabouts.The original Chad Valley sewn in label is still present and the Scottie Dog measures approximately 8.5 inches in length from nose tip to back leg.He weighs approximately 91 grams and has, attached to his pale blue ribbon collar a vintage heart shaped brooch which is inscribed “Pat”.I believe that the “fur” is Mohair and Pat is filled with Wood Wool.The nose and mouth have hand stitched detailing and the eyes are glass.
I have photographed Pat fully and the photos form part of the description.
I consider him to be in good vintage condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age and normal use.
This basically consists of some generalised rubbing/small holes to the fur.
