1930s CHILTERN ART SILK PANDA BEAR – 41CM (16″) TALL.
An attractive old Chiltern Panda Bear.
This bear is in overall good condition.
He has a good covering of black and white art silk – no baldy bits. The white has faded (greyed out a bit) and there is a small faded stain on the back of the head. Please see photos for condition.
He has amber and black glass eyes which look original. The left eye must have broken in half at some time in the past; it has been nicely glued back together so it would be a shame to replace it.
The black felt surround to the eyes shows signs of wear.
He has black nose and mouth stitching. He has four black claws to each hand and foot pad.
The beige velveteen hand and foot pads are a bit grubby but otherwise in good condition.
He has a non working press squeaker in his tummy.
