This gorgeous golden mohair bear was made by Chiltern in around 1930 and is in very good condition. Chiltern bears did not have labels until after 1940 but he has been positively identified as Chiltern by the raised outer stitches of his nose, drumstick legs and long arms with spoon-like paws. Features: 20″/51 cm tall, fully jointed, replaced fabric paw pads with three claws, hard stuffed (wood-wool), clear glass eyes (traces of brown colour to back of glass). He retains 85% of his mohair fur with only slight balding on his upper back and a little thinning in places. He has benefited from some restoration to replace the growler in his tummy and it works beautifully. He really is a very handsome bear
